Estimated total

Exchange rate: European Central Bank via frankfurter.app, 2026-10-26. Rooms are counted as one per two travelers.

    How this estimate works

We add up lodging (one room per two people), food, local transport and paid activities for each day, then add one-off costs such as the airport transfer and a mobile data plan. The figures are typical ranges for Seoul; Busan and smaller cities are usually a little cheaper.

    Ways to spend less

    • Use the subway and buses with a transit card instead of taxis for most trips.
    • Eat lunch at set-menu restaurants; lunch specials are often cheaper than dinner.
    • Claim your tax refund on shopping. Our tax refund estimator shows roughly how much.

    Questions people ask

    What does the estimate include?

Lodging (one room per two travellers), food, local transport, paid sights and activities, a return airport transfer and mobile data. Flights, shopping and travel insurance are not included.

How accurate are the daily figures?

They are rough estimates for Seoul based on typical prices, which is why the page shows an "Estimates only" notice. Busan and smaller cities are usually a little cheaper. Use the result to set a budget range rather than an exact number.

Which exchange rate do you use?

The rate published by the European Central Bank, updated when the site is rebuilt. Your card or exchange office will use its own rate and fees, so the amount you actually pay will differ slightly.

How can I make my trip cheaper?

Use the subway and buses instead of taxis, eat set lunches, stay in a guesthouse in Hongdae or a similar area, and claim the VAT refund on shopping. Compare a transit card with an unlimited pass in T-money or Pass? before you buy.
